Walt Disco
With a variety of melodic punk-influenced, vintage-synth singles already released, Walt Disco have launched themselves into a unique indie scene centred in the city of Glasgow, bringing a fresh taste of new romanticism to modern alternative music. Lead Singer James Potter's haunting Billie Mackenzie-style vocals combined with the percussive sound of Adam and the Ants, the band have established themselves in time of creative parallels of the 1980's. Appearing on the Vic Galloway show on BBC Radio Scotland for their BBC Introducing session, their androgyny and flamboyance illuminated as they performed their tracks "Hey Boy (You're One Of Us)" and "My Pop Sensibilities". With their upcoming spring UK tour starting next week, this band are certainly ones to watch.
